Biography

Founder Continuum Architects and Fairbairn Architecture

Kim’s distinguished career commenced in the early 1980’s when he began student work at Neill Powell and Neill Architects Inc. He then moved on to Luis Ferreira Da Silva Architects and MLH & Partners Architects.

Between 1988 and 1989 Kim was the Kimberley Project Architect for the South African National Defence Force. The early 1990’s saw Kim rejoin the team at MLH & Partners as Johannesburg Project Architect. Between 1991 and 2002 Kim swiftly progressed up the ranks, ultimately being appointed Joint Managing Director.

Thereafter Kim moved to Erasmus Fairbairn Architects in 2002 as Joint Managing Director. While there he also founded Continuum Architects, before Fairbairn Architecture first opened its doors in 2004 where Kim is presently Managing Director and Founder.
