Judges Pat Henry Partner MDS Architecture & founder of Design Base at MDS  Biography Pat completed his studies at the University of Port Elizabeth (now known as the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University) where he graduated in 1981. After relocating to Johannesburg in 1982, Pat joined the Practice of MDS Architecture. In 2000 Pat established Design Base, the Interior Design Division of MDS Architecture. Pat has vast experience in Commercial, Retail and Leisure Architecture and has been involved on numerous noteworthy projects including: Sandton City Shopping Centre, Paarl Mall, Planet Fitness Clubs (countrywide) and the Boardman’s New Corporate Identity in Design Quarter. Pat also spends a lot of time researching retail and leisure in Europe, the USA, the UAE and Africa. Back to Judges |
