| PG Bison 1.618 Competition and Awards
With less than two months to go until the closing date for entries for the 2010 competition the road show team have been wrapping up the last of their visits to institutions around the country. The final date for entry submissions is 13th August 2010. Judges Understanding what judges are looking for from an entry can often be difficult. For this years competition the judges provided a list of what they viewed as ‘NB’ when looking at competition entries. Their guide and tips can be viewed on www.1sixoneeight.co.za/judges.html  Judges: Brian Steinhobel Designing Ways As one of South Africa’s most respected and long running trade magazines for design and architecture, Designing Ways will provide added exposure for this year’s competition and winners. The first prize for this year’s competition is again an all expenses trip to the Milan Furniture Fair for the winning student and their lecturer. Second place is an all expenses paid trip to the Design Indaba in Cape Town. All 10 finalists will receive prizes this year; for details see - www.1sixoneeight.co.za/prizes.html. |
